Guru Geethaya (The Teacher's Song) is a 2015 Sri Lankan Sinhala-language drama film directed by Upali Gamlath and co-produced by Predi Seneviratne, Upali Gamlath and Dr. Arosha Frenado. It stars Roshan Ravindra, Damayanthi Fonseka, Lanka Bandaranayeke and Kalpani Jayasinghe. The film is based on Chinghiz Aitmatov's novel, The First Teacher (1962).

The film tells the story of Dyuyshen, a young Komsomol member and a former Red Army soldier who comes to a remote village in Kyrgyzstan as the new teacher. He faces many challenges and conflicts as he tries to bring modern education and progressive ideas to the conservative Muslim community. He also falls in love with Altynai, a 15-year-old girl who wants to study, but her aunt sells her to a wealthy chieftain. The film explores the themes of love, culture, tradition, and social change.
The film was shot in four countries: Sri Lanka, Nepal, India, and Russia. It features scenic locations in the Annapurna Himalayan range and Mount Everest.
